LLC annual report deadlines by month, all 50 states and DC

Built from our state pages, each checked against official sources (latest check: ). Each line shows the date that state was last verified.

If you run LLCs in more than one state, or you help clients who do, the hard part is that states don’t agree on when reports are due. About half use one date for everyone. The rest key the deadline to the month you formed or registered, and a few skip the report entirely. This page sorts every state into those groups so you can build your own filing calendar.

Read this first: the dates below are for domestic LLCs on a calendar year. Tax-based reports (California, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee and a few others) can move if your LLC uses a fiscal year, and many states give a deadline that falls on a weekend until the next business day. Always confirm on the state’s own site, linked on every line.
